On the 9th of August, India witnessed the announcement of the most awaited National Film Awards. The 66th National Film Awards were a big event for the Indian film industry as the best work from the Indian cinema was honoured with trophies.
The event was held at Shastri Bhawan in Delhi. Usually, the National Film Awards take place in April, but due to General Elections, they were delayed this year.
Rahul Rawail, the head of the jury, announced the awards in 31 different categories like best actor, best actress, best technicians, best directors, best music and more.
